Celebrate at Gage & Tollner

On the second floor of our landmarked building, two private dining rooms—the Edna Lewis Room and Dolphin Bar—have been lovingly restored in the style of Victorian parlors, featuring two ornamental marble fireplaces and original brass chandeliers. Tucked away behind both rooms is our intimate tropical hideaway, Sunken Harbor Club, which can be connected to our private spaces through a secret doorway. Gage & Tollner and the Club are where cocktail or dinner parties from 10 to 100 people become historic occasions. Weddings

There’s no place better suited for a timeless New York wedding than Gage & Tollner! Weddings and receptions have been held in our historic space for over 150 years, with partners returning to celebrate their anniversaries time and again. From intimate 12-person gatherings to unforgettable 100-person two-story affairs, Gage & Tollner’s various rooms are available for ceremonies, receptions, after parties, and all the above.

Seated Affairs

Whether you’re looking for a unique space to host a luxurious birthday dinner, corporate lunch, bridal shower, brunch, or anything in between, our intimate second floor private dining rooms are just the ticket. Both our Edna Lewis Room and Dolphin Bar boast their own full-service bars, as well as ornamental marble fireplaces and original brass chandeliers.

Seated capacity:
Edna Lewis Room: 35-40 (up to 22 at one long table)
Dolphin Bar: 22 (up to 12 at one long table)

Note that rooms can be connected with original sliding pocket doors for a total seated capacity of 60 guests.

Cocktail Parties

Seeking a special setting for your next soiree? Gage & Tollner and Sunken Harbor Club offer the ideal backdrops for personal and professional celebrations alike, ranging from 10-100 guests. Whether booking our private dining rooms or the Club, choose from a delicious array of passed canapes, raw bar options (including live shucking stations!), buffet selections and more. Both our Edna Lewis Room and Dolphin Bar feature independently operated full-service bars, as does Sunken Harbor Club. A/V available for DJ setups and karaoke, plus an upright piano for live performances.

Sunken Harbor Club

Step into the most unique venue in Brooklyn for a memorable evening at Sunken Harbor Club! Transport guests to an underwater universe with show-stopping tropical cocktails and delicious global bites and raw bar offerings, plus karaoke! Perfect for cocktail parties, birthday celebrations, and happy hour events. Please note that the Club is not conducive to seated affairs.

Transport your audience to a nautical alternate reality at Sunken Harbor Club, or back in time to the Gay Nineties with Gage & Tollner’s Victorian-era dining rooms. Our space can serve as your blank slate, with our award-winning kitchen and bar teams available to collaborate on bespoke menus featuring your branded products.
