A Bay Area native, Jamie got her start in the restaurant industry as an oyster shucker at The Spotted Pig. Due to an overwhelming need to support herself and natural ability to chit-chat with strangers, she moved over to front of house and worked her way up to General Manager. She re-opened Tosca Café in San Francisco before making her way back to Brooklyn to open Insa with Sohui Kim & Ben Schneider. Jamie is excited to be a part of Brooklyn’s culinary her-story at Gage & Tollner.
